Tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana with their end times, sunrise and moonrise, auspicious and inauspicious times, and choghadiya — for your city.
Common questions
What is a Panchang?
The Hindu almanac's five limbs of the day — tithi (lunar day), vaar (weekday), nakshatra (the Moon's star), yoga and karana — used to choose good times for work, travel, pujas and ceremonies.
What is Rahu Kaal?
One eighth of the daytime, a different eighth each weekday, considered unfavourable for starting new work. Ongoing work can continue; it changes with sunrise and sunset, so it differs by city.
What is Choghadiya?
The day (sunrise to sunset) and night (sunset to next sunrise) are each split into eight parts. Each part has a nature — Amrit, Shubh and Labh are good, Char is fine for travel, Udveg, Rog and Kaal are avoided.
Why do the times change from city to city?
Sunrise, sunset and every muhurat depend on where you are. The tithi and nakshatra end at the same moment everywhere, but the clock time shown is your city's.
